Rev.John Morgans graduated from high school in Pennsylvania and then served four years in the United States Air Force. Following discharge he worked for twenty three years as Superintendent of Maintenance for a Recreation Department in Northern Maine. During that time he earned his Bachelors degree in Business Management and then entered the ministry in the United Methodist Church. He attended seminary in Bangor, Maine and Washington, DC serving as a Licensed Local Pastor and was ordained in 2006. He has served various churches since 1995 in the New England Conference of the United Methodist Church. He is married and has four children and six grandchildren.

Rev. Morgans has been a long-time volunteer in his community and church teaching lay speaking courses, serves on the District Building and Locations Committee, the District Committee on Ministry, and is a member of the Enfield Conference of Christian Churches. He has been a Board of Director for adults with disabilities, was a member of the Naples, Maine Lions Club, volunteered as a tutor at the Educational Resources for Children after school program, and served as a member of the Board of Directors for Educational Resources for Children from 2006-2007. He is presently a board member for Enfield People for People.
