The United Methodist Church of Enfield, 41 Brainard Road, Enfield, CT, is collecting needed items for Enfield Safe Harbor for the Homeless during this cold weather. They are in urgent need of:

 

  • Underwear/t-shirts for men and women in small, medium and large

  • Warm clothing (hoodies, flannels, sweatshirts and pants)

  • Individually wrapped fruit bars, granola bars and snacks

  • Instant oatmeal

  • Juice boxes

 

Donations can be brought to the UMCE church parking lot at 41 Brainard Road, Enfield on Saturday January 24, 2026 from 10:00-12:00. Please contact the church office at 860.745.6241, if you have questions.

 

The mission of the Warming Center is to serve the homeless of the Enfield community. They serve by helping anyone in need by offering warmth, basic essentials, and connections to community resources. They serve every guest with compassion and respect.

 

The Warming Center is located at St. Patrick’s Church, 64 Pearl St. Enfield, CT and is open nightly from 7 PM to 7 AM.
